HARBOUR VIEW have opened up a four-point lead over Portmore United in the Coca-Cola National Under-21 League, following their 1-0 home win over Reno last Friday.
Portmore United, now on 25 points, suffered their second consecutive loss since being crowned end-of-round champions when they were edged 2-1 by Waterhouse at Drewsland.
Arnett Gardens overpowered Sporting Central 3-0 at the Tony Spaulding Complex to move into third place on 21 points. Waterhouse and Sporting Central complete the top five on 21 points each.
Tivoli Gardens also improved their tally to 16 after blanking August Town 3-0 at the UWI Bowl. The loss sent August Town to the bottom of the table as Village United fought back gallantly from a goal down to tie St Georges 1-1 at home.
Meanwhile, Seba United trounced Boys' Town 3-0 at Jarrett Park to improve to 15 while Boys' Town remain on 14.
In today's games, Arnett Gardens visit the Drewsland Stadium (4:00 p.m.) to square off with Waterhouse, who are on a five-game win streak.
Reno are at home at Frome to Sporting Central (3:30 p.m.). August Town will have to work overtime to gain their first win of the season when they travel to Lynch Park to face St Georges (3:30 p.m.).
Tivoli Gardens are at home to Seba United (5:00 p.m.) and Portmore United journey to Collie Smith Drive (3:30 p.m.) for a testing encounter with the Red Brigade, Boys' Town. The Stars of the East, Harbour View, will travel to the Elliston Wakeland Centre to tackle second-from-bottom Village United (3:30 p.m.).
