Rockfort murder accused denied bail

The five men charged in connection with the massacre of seven persons in Rockfort last October appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Senior Resident Magistrate Glen Brown turned down their bail applications.

They are to return to court on March 19 when the case will be mentioned.

They are Steve McClarty, Marvin Blake, Germaine Currie, Kenroy Cole and Christopher Bryan.

The seven, including two women and a four-month-old baby, were shot dead on Glasspole Avenue in Rockfort, East Kingston, early in the morning of October 5 last year.
