McFarlane

Positive example for others

Paul McFarlane is a 17-year-old lower sixth form student who, in the future, would like to pursue a career in either medicine or actuarial science. Mathematics is his favourite subject at the moment.

Paul is a member of his school's newspaper club, the debate team, and is head of the student's council.

He thanks God, whom he credits as his main inspiration. He advises that one should never study when tired, it is best to get adequate rest before studying, so as to utilise the brain at its best potential.

He expresses his desire to be a positive example for his fellow youth, and would like to implement programmes that serve to their spiritual and social development.

A career in sciences

Batchelor

Camille Batchelor is a 17-year-old, sixth-form student who intends to pursue a career in the sciences.

She sets aside specific days to study certain subjects, and within a set time frame, being careful to take breaks in between to allow her brain adequate rest.

She says that her main inspiration is God, but considers her mother as well as the teachers at her school her role models.
