When my mind is clouded and I cannot see well

When all around is breaking hell

Then I must surrender my thoughts to grace

When sorrow is flooding in my head

When peace and joy seems to be dead

Then I must think of grace

When I think of grace, I picture a place

Of swaying trees and gentle breeze

Where meadows grow and rivers flow

Where eagles rise through clear blue skies

In a place of grace

When I think of grace, I see a face

That smiles at me and makes me see

It's not my might that wins the fight

But it's the love that's from above

In the place of grace

When I think of grace then grace responds

And sends its power that very hour

To make me do what's good and true

To give me hope so I can cope

When I think of grace

My Baby

Beautiful, smooth, so refine,

I thank God the day he made you mine,

Educated and street-smart,

My baby, I love you from the bottom of my heart,

Whenever I see you in my dream,

I awake feeling so refreshed and redeemed,

Over the years we have grown so close,

We have jumped every hurdle to reach the winning post,

Sometimes I pinch myself to see if this is real,

Especially when I hug you and your warmth I feel,

Our relationship, I don't want it to end,

You're my lover, my girl, my best friend.

Think About How You Think

I often sit and ask me

If I shouldn't or I should

And I find that my advice to me

Is always pretty good

I talk with me and walk with me

I show me right and wrong;

I never knew how well myself

And I could get along

I never try to cheat me

I'm as trustful as can be

No matter what may come or go

The truth I always show

Aren't you then just like me?

Doing your best, trying not to make a mess,

The decisions we make, the actions we take,

Oh moral dilemmas, give me a break!

Our choices have consequences

There may be punishment or reward,

Your conscious actions are all intentional

Don't be surprised, this is only logical

We want to please others

Listen my sisters and brothers,

We all have ethics and principles

We uphold law and authority,

This is conventional morality

They guide us day by day,

So will you be sensible

And act in a moral way?
