Cabinet has approved a new board of directors for Jamaica Bauxite Mining Limited; new members for the Natural Conservation Authority; new members for Board of Examiners under the Electric Lighting Regulations, as well as new Quarries Advisory Committee. These entities fall under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Telecommunications.

A news release from the Ministry of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports outlined the make-up of the boards as follows.

The Natural Resources Conservation Authority

Pat Rousseau, chairman; Diana McCaulay, Garth Lampart, Tony Change, Joy Douglas, Dr Ruth Potopsingh, Christopher Stone, Shirley Williams, Peter Knight, James Rawle.

The Quarries Advisory Committee

Harold Brady, chairman; Grantley Stephenson, Tyron Chen, Coy Roache, Gary Pusey, Joy Alexander, Roger Smith, Desmond Munroe, Dr Arthur Geddes, Glenford Watson.

Electric Lighting Regulations Board of Examiners

Dr Audley Darmand, chairman; Dr Andrei Cooke, Deidre S. Powell, Dr Adrian Stokes, Fitzroy Vidal, Solomon Burchell, Duane Rowe.
