LeBron James scored 28 points and added five assists, lifting the Cleveland Cavaliers past the Heat 97-90 for his first win in nine career trips to Miami and enough to send the 2006 NBA champions to their 14th straight loss on Monday night.
Dwyane Wade scored 42 points for the Heat, who are in their second-worst slide in franchise history. The Heat started 0-17 in their expansion 1988-89 season.
Wade hit a three-pointer with 30.8 seconds left to get the Heat within 92-88 then James sealed it with two free throws 4.8 seconds later.
Rockets 96, SuperSonics 89
At Houston, Yao Ming had 30 points and 17 rebounds, Tracy McGrady added 17 points and five assists and Houston gave Seattle a team-record 11th consecutive loss, 96-89.
Wally Szczerbiak and Jeff Green had 15 points apiece for Seattle, riding the longest single-season losing streak in team history. The Sonics lost 12 consecutive games across the end of the 1968-69 season and the start of 1969-70.
The Sonics, who've lost 10 straight road games, trailed only 53-52 at half-time. But they missed 14 of their first 20 shots in the third quarter and the Rockets stretched the lead to 12.
Hornets 106, Bucks 92
At New Orleans, Tyson Chandler had 20 points and 15 rebounds and New Orleans won its fifth straight game, 106-92. Four of Chandler's baskets came on alley-oop dunks, three set up by Chris Paul, who finished with 16 points and 10 assists.
Michael Redd led Milwaukee with 19 points, scoring only two in the second half. He missed his last nine shots of the game. Andrew Bogut had 13 points and 15 rebounds for his sixth straight double-double.
At Washington, Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison gave Washington its first season sweep of Dallas since 1996-97 as the Wizards won 102-84.
Butler had 25 points and nine rebounds, Jamison added 23 points and eight rebounds, and Washington overcame Josh Howard's 32 points to hand the Mavericks their biggest loss of the season. Dirk Nowitzki finished with 21 points, 11 rebounds and six assists.
Trailblazers 111, hawks 109
At Atlanta, Travis Outlaw sank a long jumper with one second left in overtime to lift Portland 111-109 over Atlanta.
Guarded by Josh Smith, Outlaw held the ball outside the three-point line until under five seconds remained. Then Outlaw took a couple of dribbles inside the circle before pulling up and making the jumper. He led Portland with 23 points.
Joe Johnson, who scored 37 points, missed a last-second shot for Atlanta, which lost its sixth straight to Portland at home.
At New York, Kevin Garnett had 20 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists, and Boston routed New York 109-93.
Celtics leading scorer Paul Pierce was ejected with New York's Quentin Richardson in the third quarter when both picked up two technical fouls for jawing at each other. Zach Randolph had 24 points and 15 rebounds for the Knicks, who reached the halfway point of its miserable season at 13-28.
