In light of the recent confession of a policeman who admitted he fabricated evidence in a murder case, would you tell the truth if it meant exposing your friend to trouble or would you protect your friend?
Opal Mahoney: "If it is a serious, serious crime, I would tell the truth. I can't have that rest on me. However, I wouldn't go down with him and, if I'm to get a lesser sentence, then I would tell the truth."
Kemmoy Dunkley: "I think I would tell the truth for both of us sake. We would have to pay for it anyway. I would have to tell the truth."
Norval Seymour: "Me nah talk. If inna my self me do it, me nah talk it. It no mek sense. Me done know say a me do it and me no response weh dem (authorities) waan say, me nah talk."
Errol Hall:"Well, from him tun Christian him haffi do it. From it have to go that way, it haffi be done. From you conscience a bodda you, speak it. It might be an offence, but you have to speak."
Richard Walker: "Me a tell the truth, the truth will set you free. Me feel him (policeman) free cuz me rate him fi do that. Me woulda tell the truth because my friend dem no suppose to do nothing wrong."
