Waterhouse captured the Jamaica Football Federation's Sherwin Williams Women's Premier League title while Reno bagged the 'A' League crown following contrasting results on Saturday at the Drewsland Mini Stadium.

Despite going down 4-2 to Portmore Strikers in the second leg, Waterhouse emerged winners, 6-5 on aggregate, after their 4-1 victory in the first leg.

Meanwhile, Reno defeated Arnett Gardens 5-0 on aggregate after both sides played to a 0-0 in their return game. Both teams were winning the respective titles for the first time.

Junior Francis, coach of Reno, was elated with his team's success.

"I would like to thank the girls for their efforts because they have been very consistent throughout the season," said Francis.

"We decided today that we were going to play a more defensive game, and the girls did that very well and we came out victorious," Francis said.

Xavier Gilbert, coach of Waterhouse was delighted with his team's performance.

"I am very happy for the young ladies because they have done well all season. This and is a well-deserved victory for them," said Gilbert.

"We were fourth seeded team going into the semi-finals and we defeated the defending champions Harbour View and once we got past them and into the finals, we were always confident that we were going win this trophy," said Gilbert.
