Who says the parties are over, now that it's post-New Year's Eve?

Legal eagle Monique Cohen celebrated the day she came into the world at the Stony Hill Hotel on Saturday night. So she invited some of her relatives, colleagues from the legal fraternity and some friends to celebrate her big day. Of course, women never tell their age and this reporter wasn't going to ask, so we all agreed on it being the sweet 16th.

Guests lounged by poolside enjoying the dinner music from the DJ. If there were any misgivings about the cool climes and the possibility of rain, they were soon dispelled as the heavens kept the waterworks in check. Nothing was going to spoil this celebration.

Soulful music

After some soulful music to complement a fine spread, the bubbly belle blew out her candles (wonder what she wished for?) and led guests to the dance floor, taking the party well into Sunday morning.
