Kisha Anderson

The team work and spirit of JMMB are what has kept Kisha Anderson manager of retail and administration for 11 years.

Starting out as a part-time employee, as she pursued an environmental sciences degree, Anderson has worked her way up the ladder. She began working in customer services, then express transaction, and was acting relief branch manager for a few days before assuming the role of branch manager. She said this was at the St. Lucia Avenue branch, then the largest of the company. "At first, I was overwhelmed. I had 15 persons who reported to me and I was humbled by the fact that they thought I could do it," she said. She noted that Joan Duncan had a great deal of faith in her and that really helped her in reaching where she has today in the company. She notes that with employees who believe in servant leaders, "others are set up to win".

With a ready smile, this energiser bunny (as she is called by her colleagues) and mother of two sons, says everything she does is about serving the company's clients. Anderson will keep going and going because, as she notes, "no two days are the same".
