Sporting designs from The Mushroom, Didi Beck and Moncrieffe, five beauties matched 'strut for strut' at the decisive challenge in the Jamaican leg of Pulse's search for the next Caribbean supermodel. But in the end, it was the Inswood High School fourth form student who 'stood taller than the rest'.
Fifteen-year-old Rochelle Notice towered over fellow teen fashionistas, Fallon Harris - 19, Heidi Ann Jamieson - 17, Racquel Jones - 19 and Saskia McIntyre - 17. "When l heard Mr. Cooper announce that I was the winner, I was just in shock. It really felt like a dream but I was so happy that all my hard work had paid off," said Notice.
An early favourite, because of her fierce look and trademark shoulder shrug at the September CMS live show, the six-footer's high cheek bones, pearly white smile and long limbs made her one of the strong contenders in the competition.
Now that the Jamaican leg of the search is over, Notice will represent Jamaica in Pulse's search for the Caribbean's next supermodel. "I gave it my all for the Jamaican leg and I put all my trust in God. My strategy is the same for the Caribbean search. Just put my trust in God and do my best," said a very confident Notice.
