Saturday was the conclusion of the highly popular Kingston Restaurant Week and Ambrosia - one of the featured restaurants - threw a party.

The entertainment package for the night was divided into two sections with Rising Stars divas Nickeisha Barnes and Inga Stewart each being featured in two separate segments.

Nickeisha Barnes was the first to get the party started with her rendition of Alicia Keys' No One before moving into Lauryn Hill's Turn Your Lights Down Low. She later went into songs like I Will Survive, To Sir With Love, No One Loves You More Than Me and I'm Going Down.

After her performance it was back to wining and dining as several guests were seen finishing their meals, while others ordered drinks at the bar.

Great dishes

Among some of the dishes served were Jamaican stuffed potato, spicy seafood penne and for dessert, it was either sweet potato pudding or cheesecake. To complement, the dishes there were three mixed drinks: Metropolitan, Grey Wolf and Double D 40, the latter being a mixture of Appleton VX, lime juice and Tropicana.

At 9:30 p.m. there was a change of table settings in order to accommodate the other guests who had made reservations for the night.

Host, Brian Brown, group entertainment officer for Supreme Ventures, later introduced Inga Stewart, who had the place rockin' to Celine Dion's I'm Alive.

Inga brought along a lot of vibes and had the guests singing and dancing along to songs like Fallin, No Ordinary Love, Below the Waist, Baby You're All I Want and Tina Turner's Simply The Best.

Inga left the stage but was urged to return by the guests, who despite the scrumptious fare, hungered for more.

Inga returned to the stage singing her final song, Donna Summer's She Works Hard For The Money.

Overall, the night was good as patrons were treated to some grand entertainment while they dined.
