What children need
published: Saturday | November 10, 2007

After reading your article 'Children hurting', I think what the children need is:

(1) Stricter laws protecting them from the hoodlums, gunmen, any abusers, molesters, etc.

(2) A Government that goes to bat for them. For too long the children have been ignored in our society. The reality is, they are our future, our legacy, if you will. The strength and future of the country will be resting on them shortly.

So we have to strengthen their tiny little shoulders now, so they can best accommodate the burden to come.
