There's no blonde hair dangling from any of its windows, nor any spear wielding knights standing around to protect it. There are no witches hovering above it on brooms at night and it bears no scars that may have been left by fire-breathing dragons.
But the unique design of a building under construction in Portmore, St. Catherine, has many residents scratching their heads.
People questioning
It is located in the Portmore Mall vicinity, right next to The Captain's Bakery and for Portmore residents, especially those plying the 'number 20 route', it is not strange to hear passers-by say out loud to themselves "what is that?" But nobody seems to know.
One individual came close to actually answering the question two weeks ago, however, when she was overheard telling a friend that the building was a place 'to eat fish.'
The Portmore Municipality did not say it was a place 'to eat fish' exactly, but a representative from the agency said the building is 'supposed to be a restaurant.' Of course, he chuckled all the way through his response because he thought it unbelievably strange that someone would take such an interest in finding out what the building, which has been under construction for two years, is supposed to be.
So Portmore, there you have it. The fancy castle is supposed to be a restaurant.
