The Editor, Sir:
I have been a life-long member of the People's National Party (PNP) and I am so disappointed in what is now happening to my party.
My parents attended the launch of the party and their wedding was at a group meeting, so it was natural that when old enough I would join the party.
Today, they, along with Norman Manley must be turning over in their graves. The party has lost its direction and has become infested with corruption and one where mediocrity is celebrated.
What secrets does he have on the hierarchy of the party that he can continue unfazed and sure of their support?
Jamaica requires a two-party system and the illustrious history of the PNP requires that the standards be upheld.
I am, etc.,
