New Government boards approved

Matalon, Russell and Hylton

Cabinet has approved new boards of directors and chairpersons for 22 public sector agencies.

Minister of Industry and Commerce, Karl Samuda, made the announcement yesterday at the weekly post-Cabinet press briefing at Jamaica House.

Chairpersons for the government bodies include:


Muir, Hendrickson and Cocking

Joseph M. Matalon - Development Bank of Jamaica

Howard Mitchell - National Housing Trust

Professor Patricia Anderson - Statistical Institute of Jamaica

Dennis Morgan - National Solid Waste Management Authority

Colonel Audley Carter - Jamaica Fire Brigade

Colonel Trevor McMillan - Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management

Robert Russell - Tourism Product Development Company Limited

Ian Moore - Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica

George Soutar - Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission

Pat Rosseau - Caymanas Track Limited

Robert Martin - Financial Institutions Services

B. St. Michael Hylton - Financial Services Commission

Errol Hudson - Fiscal Services Limited
