Heroes Circle road repair plea
published: Thursday | October 25, 2007

THE EDITOR, Sir:

The recent rains which wreaked havoc throughout Jamaica have damaged sections of National Heroes Circle in central Kingston. Of particular concern is the area in front of the Ministry of Education where huge craters have emerged, causing traffic bottlenecks along this important thoroughfare.

Many motorists, too annoyed (and justifiably so) to plough their cars through the potholes, now climb the sidewalk in front of the Education Ministry, which poses danger to pedestrians and damage the sidewalk as well.

I'm sure the Government has many other potholes to address after the rains, but those in this key corridor of the capital city need to be fixed expeditiously.

I am, etc.,

FRUSTRATED

Kingston
