The Editor, Sir:

I agree with the person who wrote on Bali not being more beautiful than Jamaica.

I myself believe that Jamaica is the most beautiful place on earth. I have been to a few countries myself, the USA, Canada and others. Canada is clean and OK, but I am yet to see a place as beautiful as Jamaica; don't even mention the food.

It is only the high crime that is a bother and the bad publicity, because crime is everywhere but Jamaica is publicised more. I was in Canada July/August and one Saturday night eight people got shot including a 9-year-old boy but that was not all over the news.

When these things happen in Jamaica it is all over the world. We just need to find a way to control crime and create jobs and then Jamaica will be heaven on earth. Again I say Jamaica is without a doubt the most beautiful place on earth.
