KRW: Acropolis Gaming and Entertainment Centre...participating restaurants
published: Friday | October 19, 2007

What better place to be than at Acropolis Gaming and Entertainment Centre during Kingston Restaurant Week? - Colin Hamilton/Freelance Photographer

Acropolis Gaming and Entertainment Centre - exciting both person and palate

Location: 29 East King's House Road

Tel: 978-1299/978-4863

Acropolis Gaming and Entertainment Centre boasts quality entertainment. Julian Walker, customer service and entertainment manager, said the venue offers entertainment that will excite both the person and the palate.

And they are back again after participating in Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW) last year. This year, they participate both as a restaurant and a club. To enjoy a game of blackjack or spin the wheels at the slot machines, you have to be 18 years or older. However, age is not an impediment for just sitting down to any of their scrumptious dishes at the restaurant section. As it relates to dress code, patrons are encouraged to be reasonable in their attire. Men should not wear tank tops and women should not wear micro shorts.

As part of their entertainment package, happy hour is every Friday and Saturday, where 50 per cent is taken off selected drinks. Also on these nights, a DJ does his thing and patrons can win a range of prizes, from a pen to a flat screen television.

Management says they pride themselves on courteous hospitality. Staff are trained to assist customers with all their needs, producing an 'at home' feeling. You can experience the ultimate entertainment from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. on weekdays, and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
