Crime is out of control
published: Friday | October 19, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

We continue to use the declaration of crime as if it is some form of machine which was brought into existence by some expert scientists from all over the world, and seem to have forgotten, that without people crime doesn't exist.

The different administrations which allow children with the threat of legal action, to impede parents from teaching proper morals and values, along with the many different races and cultures which simply cannot exist peacefully together, and bad inattentive parents, who do not take responsibility for their children's actions, are the main contributing factors to crime, and are responsible for this sorry mess.

Nothing done

The under-16s think that if they commit crimes, nothing will be done to them if they are caught. To a certain extent, they are correct, and that's where parents come in with reprimanding their children and teaching them the right things. However, the neglectful parents along with the liberal law makers and the human rights activists, have unplugged that effective historical method of parenting, and have successfully contributed to the ignition of the melting pot.

Yes, crime is out of control. The evidence is there for all to see. And what one sees with one's own eyes does not compute with the statistics from the Govern-ment. Too many people get rich out of crime these days, lawyers, police and criminals are some of the main recipients. As long as this is the case, crime will continue to grow.

I am, etc.,
