Shaw, Wehby for five-day US visit

Washington, DC:

Audley Shaw, the Minister of Finance and the Public Service, and Don Wehby, Minister without Portfolio in the ministry, will arrive in Washington, D.C., today, for a five-day high-level business visit.

While in Washington, the two ministers will have meetings with a number of top officials at the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and the International Monetary Fund. On Friday, Mr. Shaw will address members of the Jamaican community in Washington, D.C., at a 'Meet the Ministers' session hosted by the Embassy of Jamaica. The minister will give an update on economic growth and the development of Jamaica in the 21st century.
