Bomb plot accused challenge extradition
published: Thursday | September 27, 2007

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC):

A High Court has agreed to hear in December a challenge to the extradition to the United States of three men wanted in that country on charges of plotting to blow up the John F. Kennedy International Airport earlier this year.

Justice Nolan Bereaux fixed December 10 and 14 as the trial dates and also set deadlines for the filing of affidavits and legal submissions.

Attorney representing Trinidadian Abdul Kareem Ibrahiim, 62, and Guyanese nationals Abdul Nur, 57, and former legislator Abdul Kadir, 56, had gone to the High Court on Tuesday for a casemanagement conference.
