All the illustrations at the Outameni Experience are saying the same thing, 'Here is an experience of Jamaica from the early days through the years up to today'. And illustrator/artist Kojori Dawes is the man responsible for the remarkable drawings, which constantly remind all patrons of the rich heritage of Jamaica.
The drawings depict from the Tainos to Christopher Columbus to the slaves and inclusive of all other nationals that arrived on our shores to include the Indians, Chinese and the English. Not to be outdone, Jamaica today is quite visible in the illustrations.
still studying
This freelance graphic artist is currently studying at Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, yet finds time to be gainfully employed at his passion. It is not clear how he found the time to produce such breathtaking masterpieces for Outameni, but his response when quizzed was, "It's not easy."
In addition to the numerous illustrations at the Outameni Experience, Dawes is also responsible for the official logo. He was asked to revamp the old one and come up with a more creative idea, one which would better bring out the themes and one which would be more interesting when presented on all official documents and embellishment of the establishment.
Outameni Experience is proud of the work of this fine talent and those who visit will have lasting expressions of the experience, which is complemented by the quality of the illustrations that are trumpeted all over the property.
