The ultimate experience of Outameni is not just the top-class entertainment, cuisine and rich heritage it offers, but the service offered by a friendly and courteous staff. They complement the package with charm, character and efficiency, and in doing so, their deportment kicks into play.
Their splendid outfits are the handiwork of designers, Pam Sutherland and Barry Moncrieffe, who operate a small designing establishment in Kingston.
According to Sutherland, the final product that the staff proudly wears is a combination of ideas from the operators of the Outameni Experience, coupled with hers and Moncrieffe's initiative - turning out uniquely tailored attires.
The dress code of the staff depicts one of the hallmarks of Outameni, which is the people of our heritage, hence the designs capture themes from the first people of Jamaica, the Tainos. In addition, the Spaniards, Africans, English, Indians and Chinese who represent the people who came are all illustrated and featured.
A favourite among the attire of the regular staff and performers is the Jamaica today theme, which depicts dancehall and reggae music, which are also illustrated in the dress code.
