ILO workshop to improve region's labour climate
published: Wednesday | September 19, 2007

ST. GEORGE'S, Grenada (CMC):

Caribbean labour officials will meet here this week to design new strategies to improve the industrial relations climate in the region.

The 30 senior labour officials, drawn from across the Caribbean, will attend a three-day workshop which is sponsored by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Labour.

Samuel J. Goolsarran, facilitator of the conference and management consultant with the ILO, told the Caribbean Media Corporation that the workshop would reflect on the administrative work of labour organisations with a view to improving their performance and effectiveness.
