NDC to pay first official visit to North America
published: Wednesday | September 19, 2007

ST. GEORGE'S, Grenada CMC):

Grenada's Opposition Leader Tillman Thomas, who is demanding a general election, will head a delegation of his party on its first official visit to North America later this month.

Thomas said the delegation from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, will visit Toronto, Washington and New York.

"We are very excited at the chance of meeting Grenadians, Caribbean nationals and other Canadians to share with them the NDC's vision for reclaiming Grenada's good name, reducing our debt burden and building an economically viable nation,'' he said.
