Searching for ...I am trying to renew acquaintances with with one Janice Francis, who attended the Mona Campus around 1983 to 1987. Janice's mother was a physician and she has a brother named Garth Francis who also studied medicine. Around that time, Janice lived at Barbican. I would greatlyappreciate if anyone seeing this letter and is in contact with her, would give her my address shown below.

Big backingThe JLP and its leader seem to be financed by big business and is spending big time to get their ads on all the media available. After 18 years of PNP, why do the JLP need to sound so desperate?
They promise everything. I get the impression they will have to reward all these financiers who spend big bucks. To what end? Jamaicans beware. Know what you are doing.

Party coloursI think it's time the wearing of party colours during election time be done away with, like it's sports day except for all the killing. I think this would help a great deal, and it should become law. If we want change, we must start being practical. I live in England and believe me, we don't even know when its election day, it's so quiet. Little by little, we can do it. Of course it will not happen overnight.

Religion & politicsThe religious sector should know that veiling their endorsement for either political party is more detrimental to our nation than any open endorsement would be. It is widely understood here in America that money can buy anything, even endorsements.

Disaster fundI am in deep thought about situations such as times of crisis and natural disaster and I am very much concerned about the fact that people suffer because there are not enough funds to help the affected. We should consider a natural disaster national insurance fund that would not exempt anyone, rich or poor, young, old - even a child.
Some children get ample lunch money and the person that joins such a scheme could offer anyone he or she desires to benefit. Some people are not working and maybe at the moment can't find $10 to buy a pen. If, say, one million Jamaicans give $10 per week minimum, it would be $10 million per week. Let's prepare for the unexpected even when we are in pleasant times!
