England squad unchanged
published: Monday | August 6, 2007

England captain Vaughan - Reuters

LONDON, England (CMC)

England, who whipped West Indies 3-0 in a four-match Test series earlier this summer, have an unchanged 12-man squad for the third Test against India starting Thursday at The Oval.

There had been some newspaper speculation that the Essex all-rounder Ravi Bopara would be added to the 12, but England's selectors stuck with the side that lost by seven wickets last week, after narrowly failing to force victory on the final morning at Lord's.

SQUAD - Michael Vaughan (captain), James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Ian Bell, Paul Collingwood, Alastair Cook, Kevin Pietersen, Matthew Prior, Monty Panesar, Ryan Sidebottom, Andrew Strauss, Chris Tremlett.
