Robert Miller and Kristen Broomfield were married on July 8. - Contributed

Robert Miller got a vision in July 2000 that he would one day marry a nurse and his vision was realised on July 8, 2007.

Miller and Kristen Broomfield tied the knot at Kencot Seventh-day Adventist Church at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Charles Blythe officiated.

Miller, 30, is the assistant director at the Northern Caribbean University's (NCU) Kingston campus. He is also the vice-president of G2K in charge of public relations. He is the son of Hepburn Miller and Iona Coaben-Miller.

Broomfield, 27, is a registered nurse at the Kingston Public Hospital. She is the daughter of Kirk and Evadney Broomfield.

The couple met on a church trip in 1996 and occasionally ran into each other at concerts and church events. "I went to NCU in search of a nurse, I always follow the Lord's leading for my life," said Miller.

Destiny

As destiny would have it, he began NCU the following year.
