On newsstands July 24, Travel and Leisure's 12th Annual World's Best Awards Readers' Survey is based on readers' response to a questionnaire developed by the editors of the magazine in association with Harris Interactive. Respondents rated hotels, destinations, and travel companies based on recent travel experiences.

In the hotel category, readers were asked to rank their experiences on the following criteria: rooms/facilities, location, service, restaurants/food, value. Travel and Leisure is one of the most respected consumer travel magazines in North America, reaching more than 986,000 travellers each month.
