A true prophet of God
published: Monday | April 16, 2007

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Concerning Pastor Phinn's prophecy, let us not jump the gun and begin to pass judgement. After all, the Bible suggested that we test the spirits. In this case, time is the master; the election is just around the corner for us to see.

God did use prophets to relay messages to heads of states in the olden days. For example the Prophet Elijah was used to advise King Ahab and there are many other instances throughout the Bible. I see no reason, therefore, to deny the use of prophets similarly in these times as God never changes.

However, the immediate prophet most be held accountable whenever the inevitable results are available, whether true or false and that will be the real test of Pastor Phinn's prophecy - it will either make or break him as a true prophet of God.

I am, etc.,
