To get back at Adam for his tormenting of Krystal, Tad, Jamie, Aidan and Jeff made it appear as though Adam was losing his mind. Adam was taken to the sanitarium, where he encountered Janet and cut a deal with her. JR triumphed when the Chandler Enterprises board sided with him and ousted Adam from the company. Ryan was ecstatic when Annie finally agreed to marry him. Jeff reeled when Erica admitted that she'd always be in love with Jack. Meanwhile, Jack's sadness over his impending divorce led him to sleep with Barbara, which sparked Erica's determination to get him back. Kendall helped Ethan's mother, Hannah, find peace. Bianca and Zoe shared a kiss.

Learning that Craig had obtained the company by getting Lily's signature, Dusty quit. Craig told Lucinda that the price for getting her company back is Johnny's location. Later, Faith overheard a despondent Lily deny to Lucinda that she has a drug habit. Adam confronted Gwen at the cabin and tried to rape her, but was stopped by Will and Casey's nick-of-time arrival. Casey insisted on returning to Oakdale and facing possible jail time for jumping bail. Knowing it could be their last night together, Casey and Maddie began to make love. Katie had to break her dinner date with Jack.

Donna encouraged Phoebe and Rick to be together, and reserved the honeymoon suite for them, then secretly had the bill emailed to Ridge. After promising Brooke that he would never lay a hand on Rick, Ridge found him and Phoebe alone together and hit Rick, knocking him out. Appalled by Ridge's actions, Brooke broke their engagement and headed straight to Nick's house, asking him to make love to her. Ashley turned down Nick's offer to work for him at twice the salary the Forresters are paying.

Philip arrived on the island and Shawn spotted him. Gabby denied Belle's accusation that she's after Shawn. Steve had a with a brutal orderly at the mental hospital. EJ pretended to be crushed when Sami showed him the fake DNA report saying Lucas is the baby's father. Nick refused to risk his job to steal Chelsea's hairbrush from the lab.

Mr. Craig used a threat against Patrick to make Robin and Nikolas act like they've fallen in love. However, Robin managed to get a sample of Nikolas' blood to the hospital for analysis. Amelia put Sam on edge by bringing up her past. Jax admitted to a furious Carly that he pretended to have slept with Alexis in order to make Carly jealous and prove that she still loves him. Despite Maxie's confidence that Scott would never hurt Lulu, he confronted Lulu, thinking she's behind the blackmail. Alcazar proceeded with his plans to destroy Sonny and Jason. Maxie believed she had a way for Coop to be admitted to the police academy.

Cyrus threatened to destroy Mallet by revealing his dark past. Trying to ignore that prospect, Dinah married Mallet, but an inner voice plagued her in the midst of her happiness.

Unaware that the cameras were rolling, Jill blabbed to Ji Min about Cane being her son, prompting Cane to tell Jill that this video could hasten his deportation. Victor warned Nikki that she could be hurt in the crossfire by running for the state Senate against Jack. Korbel agreed to go on record opposing Jack about Clear Springs. When Lily shared Colleen's plight about JT not leaving her alone, her friends suggested having Colleen date someone new who would make JT upset - like Kevin.
