Alleged priest killer granted bail
published: Saturday | March 24, 2007

The man accused of murdering Anglican priest, Father Richard Johnson, was yesterday granted bail in the sum of $250,000 with a surety.

He is Prince Vale, 25, labourer, of a Kingston address.

Justice Paulette Williams granted him bail after hearing a bail application from attorney-at-law Arthur Kitchin. The Crown did not oppose bail.

Vale is to return to the Home Circuit Court on April 20 when his case will be mentioned.

Father Johnson was fatally stabbed at his residence near the St. Judes Anglican Church, Stony Hill, on November 12, last year.
