THE EDITOR, Sir:

On January 20, my wife and I were driving through Ocho Rios on the bypass heading towards White River when the car caught fire. Within a brief time, we were assisted by the people around. I would like to thank the many people who came to our assistance, motorists stopped and people from the local market appeared within seconds and brought the fire under control until the Fire Brigade and police arrived. Fortunately, no one got injured, but we were very shaken up from the incident.
