Quarterly seminars
Last week's was the first in a series of quarterly seminars for Montego Bay and was made possible through the kind sponsorship of Freight Handlers Limited, agents for steamship lines and NVOCCs, serving the busy ports of Montego Bay and Kingston.
The next 'Lunch and Learn' seminar is scheduled to take place at the SAJ office in Newport West on Thursday. It will focus on 'Best Practices and Trends in International Port Operations and Vessel Stevedoring'. Karen Adiar will be the chief presenter.
The SAJ launched the monthly 'Lunch and Learn' seminars in July 2006 in an effort to raise the awareness of developments in regional and global shipping for stake-holders in the industry.
