Mar. 9 & Sat. Mar. 10 at 8:00 p.m.
This very funny play, after having people jumping and screaming with laughter for most of time in Kingston, is heading for rural Jamaica and will make its first stop at Island Village in Ocho Rios on Sunday, March 18 at 7:30 p.m.
2 Hot centres around a young girl, Chrissy, whose friend Plummy has moved in on her without her consent.
Cashly Dallaz, the neighbour and owner, is not amused because he doesn't like Plummy who is "two hot for him to hangle". Plummy is aggressive and demanding and so Dallaz gets his police friend, Sparkplug, to try to evict her. But not even the police can cool her. He has to get reinforcement and this scenario this leads to confrontations.
Chrissy's heartbeat Niko Styles, who is a womaniser and con man, was not welcome by Cashly or Sparkplug who both have an interest in Chrissy, but the mother of all clashes come when Chrissy found out that her best friend Plummy and Niko had a relationship in the past. 2 Hot 2 Hangle is a must see.
The play stars Joshua Tomlin as Cashly Dallaz, Margaret Wilson as Plummy, Wayne Clue as Officer Sparkplug, Georgette Wright as Chrissy and Val Dixon as Niko Styles.
