published: Tuesday | March 6, 2007

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC):

The Education Ministry here will, in the next three months, unveil a new policy it has adopted on dealing with HIV/AIDS in schools.

The plan will detail how the government will deal with the problem for the next five years, the Ministry's Student Support Services Manager Steve Williams told local media.

Williams said that data on exactly how many of the nation's school children and teachers have HIV or AIDS are now being collected by the Education Ministry.
