It's Jeremy and Nina's wedding!

Bride and groom participate in the increasingly-popular sand ceremony.

Amid intermittent showers but in the warm embrace of family and friends from overseas as well as Jamaica, Jeremy Harding and Nina Chang said their wedding vows. The date was Saturday, November 25, and the venue was the picturesque Laughing Waters in Ocho Rios, St. Ann.

Schoolmate and friend Pastor Che Cowan led the couple through their vows in an easy and relaxed manner. He advised them to build their marriage on communication, consideration, compromise, courtship, commitment and Christ. The bride chose a simple strapless white gown with a tulle underslip and the groom was outfitted by Jack Victor of Montreal, Canada.

Florist Michelle Lee stuck to the bride's preferences for greens and a natural ambience. She filled huge vases with green apples and combined with fresh blooms of buttons, chrysanthemums, calla lilies and baby's breath as well as masses of orchids for the decor. The carpet covering the sand on the beach where the vows were made was strewn with rose petals that bore just the right hint of green.

The guests' tables under the tent were covered with shades of moss and forest green with matching votive candle holders.

Dean Fraser's sweet saxophone sounds filled the atmosphere as the couple signed the register. Caterer Celeste Gordon did a magnificent job with the wedding feast and Jing Shi's multi-tiered wedding cake was topped with calla lilies while his petit fours just melted in the mouth.

While the couple went off for their customary photo session, guests mingled over cocktails and hobnobbed with the celebrities from the groom's family in music. Another long-time friend Kimani Robinson was master of ceremonies.
