Praedial larceny squad
published: Friday | October 6, 2006

Thirty-four fully trained members of the Island Special Constabulary Force (ISCF) will be assigned to special duties in the national effort to combat praedial larceny, the Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS) has said.

In a statement issued yesterday, the JAS said the police will be dispatched in the rural areas islandwide and will play an integral role in the implementation of the Agricultural Produce Receipt Book System.

Graduation today

The official graduation ceremony for the ISCF members will be today, at Harman Barracks, Kingston 5, commencing at 2:00 p.m.

Senator Norman W. Grant, president of the JAS, will be the keynote speaker for the event and will provide clarity on the role of the ISCF in the anti-praedial larceny initiative.
