Postal service website provides teaching aids

Primary school students examining postage stamps during class to answer a question as part of a social studies project. Post Corp's website - www.jamaicapost.gov.jm - provides a valuable teaching resource for the primary-level social studies curriculum as well as for CSEC and CAPE projects. Other supporting items such as historic stamps are provided by the Philatelic Bureau at the Central Sorting Office upon request.- Contributed

IT'S BACK-TO-SCHOOL time!

Teachers are reminded that instructional content and items that support the primary-level social studies curriculum, as well as information for a variety of projects at the CSEC and CAPE levels, may be found on the Postal Corporation website www.jamaicapost.gov.jm.

Additional teaching aids such as historic stamps are available from the Philatelic Bureau at the Central Sorting Office in Kingston: Contact us at telephone: 922-9430-8, or fax: 922-9439. Additionally, links to other websites such as the Jamaica Information Service will assist in data exploration.
