Jamaica will introduce a new class of service across its routes, called executive
business, replacing its first class service, effective October 29.
The airline, which flies 270 times per week to ten countries, said yesterday that its test of the service, which continues to include champagne and pampering, on the London route since June had boosted its U.K. business.
"The change is aimed at giving Air Jamaica competitive edge, as we anticipate increased sales with the more attractive fares in the Executive Business Class," said its release.
Its full scale introduction was to ensure brand consistency, according the airlines new senior vice-president for marketing and sales, Paul Pennicook.
