HOT, HOT SUMMER
published: Monday | July 24, 2006

Relaxation never looked so good. Swimsuit available at Ammar's, Village and Mall Plaza, and accessories at Blue, 1 Grosvenor Terrace, St. Andrew. - ANDREW SMITH/PHOTOGRAPHY EDITOR

THIS YEAR marks the 60th anniversary of the bikini, and as it nears retirement age, the seductive little piece of swimwear shows no signs of ever slowing down. Albeit, it has shrunk considerably, but there is no indication that it will disappear from the bodies of babes on the beach and pool anytime soon.

In a bid to pay homage to the mighty bikini, the Flair took to the picturesque Solaris, located on Marbella Estate, Bull Bay, St. Thomas, where the chic architecture of the guesthouse, breathtaking view from the balconies and exotic black-sand beaches provided the perfect backdrop for a showcase of some of the hottest bikinis now available in Jamaica.

Swimsuits provided by Ammar's, Village and Mall Plaza, Constant Spring Road, and The Mushroom, 26 Oxford Terrace, Kingston 5, and worn by Saint International models Heather Lee, Donisha Powell and Shenay Reynolds.

Accessories provided by Blue, 1 Grosvenor Terrace, Kingston 8.
