Why punish GSAT students?
published: Wednesday | June 28, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM writing to find out why is it that the GSAT results are taking so long to be ready. I don't think it is fair to the students who are awaiting results and are graduating this week.

This means that after technically leaving the school, they will have to return to find out which school they have been placed in.

Most of these children need enough time to process the information, make good choices, as well as prepare for summer school at their respective schools.

Parents also need time to process all this information as well as to arrange time off from their busy work schedule to get the children ready to attend high school. Why punish the children? They have already done their best.

I am, etc.,
