PSOJ celebrates 30 years

THE PRIVATE Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) will celebrate its 30th anniversary on March 11, under the theme of its new slogan, 'A Productive Nation is our Priority'.PSOJ presidentBeverley Lopez remarked that the anniversary celebrations will provide an opportunity for PSOJ members to highlight the contribution of
the private sector to
national development. She added, "Commemorating this important milestone in our history will provide the PSOJ with the opportunity to recognise and honour the outstanding role played by a number of persons over the years."
This 30th anniversary year will be launched on Sunday, March 12, with a celebratory church service. An anniversary supplement will be published on Tuesday, March 14, and a press briefing and special council cocktail reception will also be held on that day. On Friday, March 17, a Members' Anniversary Luncheon will be hosted by the PSOJ, with special guest speaker, the Governor-General, His Excellency, the Most Honourable Kenneth Hall.
Additional activities to be held during the year, include a Banquet and Awards Ceremony being planned for July, as well as the publication of a PSOJ 30th Anniversary Journal.
