FRIDAY NIGHT is always a great time to party, especially during the 'silly season', and the management and staff of Key Insurance feel the same way.
To show their festive spirit, the company hosted a party at the Devonshire Restaurant at Devon House last Friday. But there was more to this little get-together than just the celebration of the festive Christmas season. It was also a broker appreciation party and the Key staff made sure everybody was having a good time.
"We used to throw these kind of parties years ago but we cooled off a little," joked Natalia Gunter. She hoped this one would be the first of many more down the line. So this little dancefest (as it turned out almost everybody started to boogie) was for the brokers who had helped Key Insurance stay in the insurance coverage game for 2005.
There were very few seats which could only mean one thing; they wanted you to get on up and dance. At first, there were very few takers for the very inviting dance floor but after a while the rhythms became too infectious and they had no choice but to yield to the temptation to 'shake it'.
There were two bars for guests to enjoy, one with fruit punch and all that soft stuff, and one for the more adventurous drinkers to imbibe. Meanwhile, guests dined on delightful finger foods including crab cakes, codfish fritters, callaloo quiche and cheese sticks while grooving to the beat.
