PORTLAND TOOK over sole leadership of the Red Stripe Cricket Championship following their innings and nine-run victory over Trelawny at Folly Oval on Sunday.
With the win, Portland moved to 24 points, five more than St. Ann (19) whose game against St. Thomas at Goodyear Oval was washed out by rain.
Elsewhere, Westmoreland and Clarendon secured wins against Boys' Town and Kingston and St. Andrew respectively.
Meanwhile, St. Thomas' Michael Jackson and Hanover's Kadian McKenzie scored centuries.
At Folly Oval, Carl Brissett's nine-wicket haul carried Portland to their third victory.

At Collie Smith Drive, Westmoreland bounced back from losing first innings to beat Boys' Town by six wickets.
