KINGSTON, CMC:
MEXICAN PRESIDENT Vicente Fox arrived in Jamaica yesterday for a short visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
Fox, who is heading a delegation of Government ministers, legislators and private sector officials, will meet with Prime Minister P.J. Patterson today.
He will also meet with Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Minister K.D. Knight.
The two leaders will sign a joint communiqué yesterday afternoon before briefing reporters on the outcome of the visit.
Fox, who is also accompanied by his wife, Marta Sahagun de Fox, will also pay courtesy calls on Governor-General, Sir Howard Cooke, and the Leader of the Opposition, Bruce Golding.
