Overseas players for Ja final Cup match

SIX OVERSEAS-BASED players have been drafted into the national senior football squad for the final week of training for the World Cup qualifier against Costa Rica on November 11.

The overseas-based players who will join the squad this week are Tyrone Marshall, Darryl Powell, Wolde Harris, Deon Burton, Andy Williams and Keith Kelly.

Shane Stevens, Fabian Blake, Kevin Deerr, Leon Williams and Greg Gardener fail to retain their places in the squad, making way for the overseas men.

Top Harbour View midfielder Jermaine Hue and Irvino English have retained their places in the 23-man squad.

The local-based players are to report to the Players Residence at 102 Shortwood Road, Kingston 8 tomorrow at 8:00 p.m.

Squad: Linval Dixon, Aaron Lawrence, Donovan Ricketts, Leon Gordon, Tyrone Marshall, Shavar Thomas, Claude Davis, Fabian Davis, Marco McDonald, Robert Scarlett, Irvino English, Chris Dawes, Andy Williams, Darryl Powell, Keith Kelly, Damion Williams, Fabian Dawkins, Winston Griffiths, Wolde Harris, Deon Burton, Thomas Grant, Jermaine Hue and Craig Gordon.
